awesome wiicast as always. just wanted to say!
I like how he complains about the graphics and storyline, etc, but give s it a 10/10 anyway, lol!
Stick to news and leave the reviewing to Rewt_Beer. ;-)
My thoughts exactly on the controls. So much better than dual analog. Not quite better than a mouse, but more immersive.
Rewt_Beer's review of MP3 suked big time. Texas man's review was better, but not by much.
Great wiicast, as always, I'm looking forward to getting my own copy of MP3.
You mentioned in you wiicast that there will not be online play in the Wii version of Guitar Hero 3. But this post on "Pro-G" from today has a quote from RedOctane's Jordan Dodge that there WILL be online in the Wii version:
"There will, in fact, be Online gameplay for the Wii when Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock launches in late October," said RedOctane's Jordan Dodge. "However, there will not be Downloadable content available on the Wii at launch. That, we are still working with Nintendo on."
Here is the full post.
So that sounds like good news.
Looks like Joystiq updated their article about no GHIII online support with this info:
Update: Red Octane contacted Joystiq to say that Huang was talking about downloadable content to ProG, not online play. There will be no DLC initially for the Wii, but they reaffirm that there will be online play. Of course, our first question was, "How are you implementing that?" They have to check with the developer and get back to us.
So, hopefully this is true!
