Metroid Prime 3's controls are unquestionably better than dual analog. It just blows it away. I guess some people might take some time to get used to it, but dual analog had a learning curve when it was first introduced. This to me has just been better from the get go. No going back for me.
I have to say I don't agree with your comparison to Call of Duty and I wonder if you adjusted any of the control settings. COD was way looser and not as comfortable to play at least for me. I like this way more than dual analog.
Comparing this to COD3 is insulting. I just stopped watching the video after you made that comparison. It is indeed better than any dual analog controls I've ever experienced, period. Going back to Bioshock and The Darkness felt incredibly archaic. It suddenly felt jerky and imprecise not to mention you lose that sense of freedom from a separated controller. Samus turns when you want her to turn. She shoots and hits exactly where you point the reticule. The Wii might not be a powerhouse, but if every game that came out on the Wii were this polished, I'd be very happy.
It is way better than dual analog. You must be smoking koolade. Wow compared to CoD3? Now you've lost your rocker..I thought we were on the same page espcially after your Super Metroid review. That was just a inaccurate and unnecessary comparison. RS and CoD3 were failures as far as fps controls go. And no its not the same type of controls. Metroid is way more intuitive and fluid. 60fps, polished graphics, smooth controls, etc. And no look at the the significant difference in frame rates, world sizes, extra details in textures, lighting, need I go on? You don't have the graphic eye hence your reference to GC graphics. Tell your little graphics comment to Retro and maybe you'll learn a little about game develpoment and hardware. Of course you're gonna feel that way when you compare it to a 360 game you tool! That aside. If you're re-adjusting then you're still not used to the Wii-mote & nunchuck controls. I dont have your adjusting problem, but we both know that that is your problem, and you scored the controls right..10/10. I'm done with your reviews.
