Nibris F#CKS UP, Steals Artwork for DS "Game".
Well after semi congratulating Nibris in today's Wiicast...I'm taking it back. Seems that they have a new DS "game" in development called "Children of the Night". Well they released some concept art for the game...which turns out to be fan art for Silent Hill V by someone who submitted their portfolio to Nibris. This art was cropped and released as official art without permission from the owner. Here's the "Concept Art".
Here's the statement from the owner of the art as taken from a GAF thread:
Hey,thanks for being aware. There must have been some misunderstanding. Generally I work with Nibris doing concept art for Sadness and ROTR. Those three pics Nibris used in their NDS game promo I gave to Nibris only as a sample of my gallery and in what atmosphere I would see a horror game for the NDS to look like. I don't really know why Nibris or Cubed3 released those artworks without my authorization, because they were intended for intranet only. Seems like one big shit :/
Overall, nothing bad happened, I'll try to straighten out some people. Cubed3 should write an apology soon.
Thanks again,
Cheers

So now we have to question whether or not ANY of Nibris' projects are real....AGAIN. I give up. as of this moment I'm completely writing them off until something hits retail.

Hopefully he didn't sign an agreement saying that art that he gives them belongs to them.
So what..a written apology will be made and then thats that, no harm no foul. Get over it.
That aside I'm very excited to see something from the dark, highly anticipated game Sadness! Looks promising! And with the time they're taking to develop the game it should'nt anything short of spectacular.
By the way i'm playing MP3:C...3 words...A..MA..ZING! It's shaping up to sit on the same pedastal as Super Metroid. I know thats a bold statment, but since I'm playing both I have a better perspective on the comparison and it is that good. And I've never even thought that of any previous Metroid game. Look forward to your review.
