But alas, an interview with Gamepro Magazine reveals that there will be no online play for Metroid Prime 3. How sad.

Will Metroid Prime 3 have any online modes?
No. It's something we talked about early on, but we only have so many resources. We opted to devote those resources to making a better single-player experience.
Well, I guess now we know that one week delay wasn't to tweak multiplayer! I'm much more excited for the single player game anyway. Full interview here:

What. A. Blow! Man that is what the nintendo needed, a killer online game to kick it into the new genreation! and if any franchise was gunna do that, it was metroid!

They said from the beginning there would be NO multiplayer. It's not that kinda game anyways. Everyone needs to stop acting so damn surprised lol
Anyways, it looks freakin' nice, and I can't wait for it!
